A new puppet short film to add to my ongoing annual Christmas video collection. This one involves the titular snow shovel embarking on a quest to find his true self. Does he find it? Watch and see!
This was a challenging puppet to build. All of the movements are accomplished through cables, springs, wire linkages and braded fishing line. I was pretty happy with the result. It’s surprising how much expression an inanimate object can convey if you just give it some moving eyebrows!
